This Account Deletion Policy (“Policy”) outlines the procedure and conditions under which users of GetOurStay Private Limited (“GetOurStay”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) may request deletion of their account on www.getourstay.com, including all subdomains, mobile applications, platforms, and related services (collectively referred to as the “Platform” or “Services”).
This Policy should be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. By initiating an account deletion request, you acknowledge and agree to the terms set forth below.
Users may request deletion of their account directly through:
The in-app “Delete Account” feature available within account settings.
Submission of a reason for deletion is optional. Any information provided will be used solely for service improvement purposes.
Upon submission of a valid deletion request, the user’s account will be permanently deleted within thirty (30) days from the date of request.
During this period, we may undertake necessary administrative, technical, and compliance procedures prior to permanent removal.
All personal data associated with the account will be removed from active systems within this timeframe, subject to any legal or regulatory retention obligations.
Upon completion of deletion:
Access to the account will be permanently revoked.
Personal profile information will be removed from our active databases.
Property listings, postings, or public content associated with the account may be removed or anonymized.
Active subscriptions, services, or benefits linked to the account will be terminated.
Deleted accounts cannot be reactivated or restored. Users wishing to access the Platform again must register a new account.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, certain information may be retained where required to:
Comply with applicable laws or regulatory requirements;
Resolve disputes or enforce agreements;
Prevent fraud or misuse of the Platform;
Maintain financial or transactional records as mandated by law.
Any retained data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. The Company shall not be liable for any loss of data, content, or information following the completion of the deletion process.
